Amazing Vibe and Great Community

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was vibrant, the staff were incredibly friendly, and I met so many interesting people along the way. The facilities were well-maintained, and the food was delicious, making it easy to enjoy my time without having to venture far. I found the location a bit inconvenient for accessing nearby supermarkets and restaurants, which could be improved.

I stayed at The Funky Monkey in North Goa for a week and it was the best hostel experience I've had. The hostel is extremely clean, with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. It's great for solo travelers, as there are always new people to meet and make friends with. The hostel offers scooter and bike rentals, making it convenient to explore Goa. The food is delicious, so you won't even need to leave for meals. Thank you for the hospitality and memories!

The staff were amazing here! From the front of house to the cleaners, cooks, and managers, everyone was supportive and friendly. the beds, though not stunning, were comfy enough for a good night's sleep. Another advantage was the convenient scooter hire, which was reasonably priced and provided good quality vehicles.

My only issue was dorm etiquette. the door was not locked, so people would come and go at odd hours, and I never knew who was staying in the dorm.

The highlight of my stay at this hostel was the air conditioning in the quadruple room. It was like stepping into a cool oasis on a scorching desert day. I felt instantly refreshed, as if I had just been transported to the chilly summit of Mount Everest.

I got great value for my money at the Funky Monkey. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was convenient, just a short walk to the beach. The staff treated me like family, always friendly and helpful.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

As a solo traveler, I loved the friendly and sociable vibe of the hostel. The staff truly went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. The private room I stayed in was chill and spacious, with a great bathroom. The location was perfect with a short walk to the beach and plenty of cafes and bars nearby. The hostel's complex of cottages and bungalows, with its beautiful courtyards and scented flowering plants, added to its charm.

As a frequent traveler, I often find myself in need of a transit hotel during my journeys. During my recent stay at Funky Monkey in Anjuna, I was pleased to find that it perfectly served this purpose. The hotel's proximity to the nearest airport, which was just 23 km away, made it incredibly convenient for me to reach and catch my connecting flights with ease. It saved me a lot of time and made my travel experience much smoother.

I did encounter one minor issue during my stay. In the hostel dorm that I had booked, there seemed to be a lack of proper etiquette among some guests.

The complex has cozy cottages with fragrant flowers. Close to the beach, cafes, and bars. Friendly helpful staff create a sociable atmosphere. Private rooms are spacious with great bathrooms. Short walk to beach and Shiva Valley. Well-kept property, comfortable beds, spacious common area.

The staff were so amazing and friendly, they practically adopted me. At least the WiFi dropouts gave me an excuse to interact with actual humans. And good luck finding cheaper food and accommodation in this ritzy area.

Oh, just what I needed, a dorm filled with inconsiderate door slammers and mosquito magnets. But hey, it's not the hostel's fault, right?

The airport was conveniently far, and WiFi was available. sometimes. Oh wait, was it supposed to work?

Oh well, at least the public parking was free. Who needs a car in a place with no WiFi anyway?

The location of this hostel is ideal, as it is in close proximity to the beach and shacks. Guests can easily enjoy the sun, sand, and sea without having to travel far. the in-house bike rental service makes it convenient to explore the surrounding areas at their own pace. the restaurant staff are welcoming, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

It would have been better if the hostel provided parking , as finding parking in the area can be a hassle. This could have enhanced the overall experience for those staying for an extended period of time.
